We knew we couldn’t use Winston Wolf, so we created a campaign where we retained his straight-talking, ambiguously sinister tone, delivered Direct Line in a fresh, modern way. It’s a good fit when used across DM, email and social to talk to the campaign target – small business owners and people who rent their home. It’s a repositioning project where Winston Wolf meets Instagram, talking about insurance on the platforms most likely to resonate with the demographic.

A major touchpoint of the campaign was an online, instant quote calculator we dubbed ‘Quote Snapper’ where you take pictures of your stuff – all the things you want to have covered – that way, you get a bespoke price tailored to you. All of the work helps drive traffic to the Quote Snapper.
